Why this route
This is a one-mountain route: the plan opens with Huangshan Scenic Area itself, and every stop that follows — Jade Screen Scenic Area, Bright Summit, Feilai Stone, West Sea Grand Canyon, Shixin Peak — is a named highlight within it. Nothing on the itinerary leaves the mountain, so the two days go to depth at a single destination rather than distance between several. The stops also share one rhythm: every stop except one is budgeted at a single hour, and the exception, West Sea Grand Canyon, carries the plan’s only two-hour block.
The day split gives each day a distinct shape. Day 1 chains three one-hour stops — Jade Screen Scenic Area, Bright Summit, Feilai Stone — under the open-ended frame of the scenic area, for three hours of timed sightseeing at an even pace. Day 2 matches that three-hour total but concentrates it: two hours at West Sea Grand Canyon, the longest single block on the route, followed by a one-hour close at Shixin Peak. The heavier block lands on day two, once the route’s rhythm is already set.
Day by day
Day 1 — Huangshan Scenic Area, then three one-hour stops. The day is framed by Huangshan Scenic Area itself, which the plan leaves without a fixed duration — it is the setting for everything that follows. The timed sequence begins at Jade Screen Scenic Area, budgeted at one hour, continues to Bright Summit for a second hour, and finishes with an hour at Feilai Stone. Three stops, three hours, an even pace from start to finish.
Day 2 — West Sea Grand Canyon, then Shixin Peak. Day 2 leads with the plan’s longest single allocation: two hours at West Sea Grand Canyon, double the budget of any other stop on the route. The itinerary then closes with one hour at Shixin Peak, a short final block that brings the day’s timed total back to three hours, matching Day 1.
Trade-offs
The flex point is Day 1. Its three stops carry identical one-hour budgets, so if the day runs long, cut Feilai Stone — the last stop in the sequence — and reclaim an hour without touching Jade Screen Scenic Area or Bright Summit. On Day 2 the slack sits almost entirely in West Sea Grand Canyon’s two-hour block, since Shixin Peak is already at the plan’s one-hour minimum; any time saved on the second day has to come out of the canyon.
Simplify by days rather than by stops. With only one day to give, run Day 1 as written — Jade Screen Scenic Area, Bright Summit, Feilai Stone — and drop Day 2; the first day stands on its own. If a full two-hour canyon block is more than the schedule allows, shorten it and keep Shixin Peak as the day-two anchor, since it costs only one hour.
